Maplewave Studio ("Provider") maintains the mobile application, including related features, products, and services (collectively, the "Service"). You should read these Terms of Use (this "Agreement") carefully before using the Service. Access to and use of the Service is subject to the terms and conditions set forth below, and your use of the Service constitutes your acceptance of this Agreement. If you do not agree to this Agreement, you should not use the Service. Provider may revise this Agreement from time to time. And the Agreement is embedded in the App, too. Accordingly, you should review the Agreement as posted on the Service from time to time. Using the Service after any revised Agreement has been posted will constitute your acceptance of the revised terms.

  1. Purpose of Service

    AV Repeater helps you to improve your language by so called repeating. Provider does not provide video or audio clips (“Content”) for you to use, except in the Samples folder. You shall use you own Content and the copyright concerned with the Content you use are subject to you only. Provider is not responsible for any Content you used in the App.

    Locate Me helps you to let your friend know where you are, and its accuracy is affected by the environment as indoors or open outdoors which is greatly affects the satellite signal or network availability. Provider is not responsible for the uses that is affected by these different environments.

    Under any circumstances, you shall not use or operate any of these apps while you are driving.

  2. Use of the Service

    Use of the Service may be available through mobile device and may require network connections. You agree that you are solely responsible for these requirements, including any applicable changes, updates and fees as well as the terms of your agreement with your mobile device and telecommunications provider. You are only entitled to access and use the Service for lawful purposes.

  3. User Content

    By using the Service, you may choose to use Content that is acquired personally by yourself. You shall not use any that infringes or misappropriates any third party's copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights or rights of publicity or privacy.

  4. Disclaimer of Warranties

    ALL PRODUCTS CONTAINED WITHIN OR AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SERVICE ARE PROVIDED TO YOU ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. PROVIDER MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE OPERATION OF THE SERVICE. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, PROVIDER DOES NOT WARRANT OR REPRESENT THAT THE SERVICE WILL OPERATE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE SERVICE AND ITS SERVERS WILL BE FREE OF VIRUSES AND OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE PURSUANT TO APPLICABLE LAW, PROVIDER DISCLAIMS ALL REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF (I) MERCHANTABILITY, (II) FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, (III) NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THE RIGHTS OF THIRD PARTIES.

  5. Limitations on Liability

    In no event shall Provider be liable to you or any other person or entity for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or other such damages, including but not limited to any damages associated with: (i) loss of goodwill, profits, business interruption, or data, or other such losses; (ii) your inability to use the Service, any unauthorized use of the Service, or any function of the Service or failure of the Service to function; (iii) the provision of or failure to provide any service though the Service; (iv) errors or inaccuracies in the User Content, Provider Content, Technology, or any advertising or other information, software, products, services, and related graphics used, viewed, or obtained through the Service; or (v) any property loss including damage to your computer or computer system caused by viruses or other harmful components encountered during or on account of access to or use of this Service or any third-party website linked to this Service. These limitations of liability shall apply regardless of the form of action, whether based in contract, negligence, strict liability, other tort, or otherwise, and even if Provider has been advised of the possibility of any particular damages.

  6. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Provider, its employees, and representatives, from and against any and all claims, actions, demands, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from your breach of any provision of this Agreement, or otherwise resulting in any way from your use of the Service.

  7. Term and Termination

    The term of this Agreement shall commence upon your first use of the Service, and shall continue (i) as long as you or any persons given access by you retain access rights to the Service, or (ii) until Provider ceases to operate the Service. Provider shall not have any ongoing obligation to provide the Service; thus, Provider may cease to operate the Service at any time and for any reason.

  8. Privacy Policy

    Any data that you provide to Provider using this Service is subject to the Privacy Policy that is posted on the Service and in effect at the time such data is provided. Provider may update its Privacy Policy from time to time, so you should be sure to review the Privacy Policy posted on the Service prior to providing any information to Provider using the Service.

  9. Entire Agreement

    This Agreement and Provider's Privacy Policy (which is incorporated herein by reference) constitute the entire Agreement and supersede any other agreements or understandings (oral or written) between you and Provider with respect to their subject matters.

Maplewave Studio ("We", "Us" or "Our" as applicable) respect the privacy of every person that uses mobile application (AV Repeater & Locate Me), including related features, products, and services (collectively the "Service") and we are committed to a safe experience for our users. Although the Service is not designed to collect any data itself, yet we do use third party service - Google Analytics and Ads provided by Google Inc.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY?

As we do not collect any information by ourselves, this privacy statement ("Privacy Policy") explains what a third party does and the purposes for which we use the third party’s services. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully so that you understand it. Please note that when using the Service it should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Use, as may be updated from time to time.

WHAT DOES THE LINK IN APP DO WHEN IT DIRECTS TO A WEBSITE?

This item only concerns with the app Locate Me. When you send a link to your friend, it includes two customized Urls: “locme://” and “http://lm.maplewave.ca” which include your position so that your friend can find you. “locme://” is for Apple devices local use only. However, if your friend uses Android device, “http://lm.maplewave.ca” is used. Depending on what kind of setting on the Android device, this link is either consumed locally or directed to the website to get a translation for that position. Under either circumstance, the website acts as a transparent translator and does not record anything.



DO WE COLLECT ANY FINANCIAL DATA?

We utilize Apple & Google to process all financial transactions and we are not provided with any data or personal information related to your transaction.

DOES GOOGLE COLLECT ANY DATA?

Google Analytics automatically collects certain data and offers optional features that determine which additional types of data are collected and how they are used.

  • An app instance id is automatically assigned to each instance of an app, for purposes of computing user metrics throughout Analytics. By default, this identifier is not associated with a user identifier, like screen name or account ID, or with a device’s advertising identifier.

  • Google Analytics does not use Apple’s Location Services feature. Analytics derives general location data from users’ anonymized IP addresses.

  • In-app purchase and subscription events are measured via StoreKit. Event parameters include product ID, name, and price. By default, these events are only associated with the app instance id.

  • App lifecycle events, such as screen views and sessions, are automatically measured and used for Analytics features like Reporting and Analysis. By default, these events are only associated with the app instance id.
